It was at an early age that Diane Lupo attended the R.I. Governor’s School for the Talented and Gifted studying theater, voice and dance that her life’s passion was realized. After attending Berklee College for Music Performance, she found that performing live was what she wanted to do.

Diane traveled internationally and performed with the nine piece, Vegas-style show band, ‘Fancy Colours’ for over ten years. Not only did she co-manage the band but she designed the costumes, wrote comedy skits, arranged music and choreographed the performances. . Broadway Show Tunes, Jazz Standards, Classic Rock, Funk and Disco were all part of her repertoire with a tribute to “Bette Midler” being her calling card into some of the finest nightclubs in the states, Canada, Scandinavia and the Islands, opening for The Temptations, and many other headliners.

Diane was one of four in-house studio singers for LYX Recording Studio, in Worcester, Mass. for several years before settling in RI to continue to perform locally with her own band. A charismatic singer able to bring comedy into every situation, she was always welcome at some of the biggest benefits and political events in New England.

With her strong background in theater arts, voiceover work came naturally. Her vast experience in nightclubs all over the world gave her the tools to adapt to radio and soon became the Co-Host of the “Mid-day Madness Show” with JoJo Gator. She incorporated her ability for spontaneous banter and voice over work to learn the aspects of radio, advertising and radio entertainment.

She is currently the owner, producer, and show host of www.Talkstreamradio.com, bringing comedy, information and inspiration to her listeners. With her love for a live audience, she also enjoys being one of the backup singers to legendary producer, singer, artist, Gerry Granahan and tours on occasion with his band, ‘Dicky Doo and the Don’ts’. In addition, she and her husband Steven Antonio Lupo produce and write music, jingles and film scores for their company, ‘Massimo Productions.’ Her teenager, Massimo, is still her finest and most adored project ever.
